A 5'2" blonde with a generous figure, Celine looks like someone you’d find behind the dentist’s reception desk rather than within the decadent walls of a luxury brothel. The 35 year old loves to travel and she’s showing no signs of settling down yet. “I left home when I was sixteen and never went back,” says Celine, “I just love the open road and I’ve been all over Australia. Now I’m saving up to travel to Europe.” Celine is typical of about 30% of sexual service providers. She works all the hours she can get and saves her money towards an immediate goal. When she has enough, she’s gone. “The German’s call it ‘wanderlust’,” she explains.
Celine admits she has often thought about brothel work in the past. “It seemed like easy money,” she says, “I’m no beauty queen but I’ve always been able to find a man when I needed one. Getting paid for sex was a logical step–especially since I’m still not ready for a steady relationship.” Still she was hesitant.
“But it’s not like that at all. Generally speaking, I get to pick my clients and most of them keep coming back for more. After a while its like they become more like friends than clients.” Then with a look of definite pride in her eyes she says, “I’m sure they’ll all miss me when I’m gone…” Celine has already booked her flight to Paris and she’ll be leaving with nearly $20,000 in her bank account. “Sure, it’s demanding work at times. But the short-term rewards are huge.” And then with a mischievous grin she adds, “It wouldn’t surprise me at all if I was back in the brothel again in a couple of months. I still have to do Venice…”
